A Song of Hope (Psalm 130)
What better place to grasp the gravity of the brokenness of the world along with the hopefulness that God is the one who alone delivers and rescues us from sin, death, and even ourselves than the Psalms? This Sunday we turn to Psalm 130 where the Psalmist cries out from the depths of his woe and ultimately finds his hope in the plentiful redemption of the Lord. Psalm 130 is an advent in song that reminds us that God alone must come and save.
