Happy Friday everyone!
Thanks so much to all who were able to attend (and also those who helped with) our Women’s Ministry Fall kickoff lunch on Sunday! It was so wonderful to share in some quality fellowship and worship. We hope you are planning on joining us for our next women’s Bible Study. Mark your calendars now for the second and fourth Wednesdays from 10 to 11:30AM. Our first study will be next week, the 23rd at the home of the Khourys. We will be working through Nancy Guthrie’s book “The Lamb of God.” Cassie Recio will have a few copies of the book available on Sunday for $12 so find her to get a copy and be prepared for the first week. The study will also have childcare, which will be available for $10 per family to cover all 10 weeks. Prayer Group will be October 7th at 10AM (and every 1st Wednesday morning following) at the Weavers. Childcare NOT provided during the prayer group.
THIS Saturday is our opportunity to work with Mision Vida Nueva in Escondido. Please contact Mike DeWit if you are interested in helping!
This Sunday our Menifee sermon response group will meet immediately after the worship service. The Gunnerson Community Group will also meet for a BYO lunch fellowship after the worship service.
Sunday School is on its way. Our Fall semester will begin on October 4th. Would you like to help? We’re looking for teachers for our younger elementary school class. The curriculum is written for you and easy to follow. This is a great opportunity for two families to partner together in the Christian nurture of our kids.
