CloseRev. Robert Recio -
Wisdom in the Way of Jesus (James 1:1-18)
While the Book of James may not seem to preach Christ or justification by faith as clearly as other books in the New Testament, it is a book of uniquely Christian wisdom, teaching us how live; be doers of the Word; and be wise followers of Jesus. In our first sermon through James, we’ll unpack the first few verses to help discern the way of wisdom to which James is calling us. For James, wisdom is shaped by suffering, received as a gift from God, and reliant upon the grace of God.
