A Different Kind of Love (1 John 4:7-12)
Love is talked about everywhere in our culture today, whether it’s in movies, TV shows, books, etc. However, despite love being talked often, it isn't usually talked about accurately. Our thoughts of love are often very self-focused. This week’s passage helps us see a true example of love, in Christ Jesus, pointing out that part of the way God loves us is in Christ's coming to the world and dying on the cross that we might live through him.
