CloseRev. Robert Recio -
The Gospel According to Simeon
The Christmas story continues in Luke, where, following Jesus’ birth, Mary and Joseph journey to the temple in Jerusalem and are met by Simeon and Anna. The aged Simeon has spent his life waiting for the Messiah. Joseph and Mary marvel at the good news Simeon proclaims about Jesus and in a powerful way, Simeon lets go of the world when he holds his Savior.
