CloseRev. Robert Recio -
A Story of Warning for People of Grace (Matthew 25:14-30)
The parable of talents is all about judgment; a word that can make us uncomfortable, but a word we need. Jesus gives us these words as a serious warning so that we will respond rightly to him. And yet, these warnings aren’t merely intended to send us back relying on our own strength but to remember that our entire lives must be lived out of the grace and generosity of God toward us in Christ and to bring us back to the promises and power of the Gospel.
