CloseRev. Robert Recio -
The Vanity of Work and the Goodness of Vocation (Ecclesiastes 4:4-8; 11:1-6)
This week we see that wise living consists of laboring and toiling not in the vanity of seeking fulfillment, but in the goodness of vocation. Even though this world cannot satisfy our deepest longings and work cannot provide the significance we expect, the wise person lives out of a sense of calling. God has called us to do good work in faithfulness to who we are in Him.
