CloseRev. Robert Recio -
Wisdom & Time (James 4:13-17)
How many of us live our lives by our Google calendars or planners? Despite the chaos of our hectic schedules is there maybe something self-validating and self-justifying about announcing our busyness to whomever will listen? In this week’s passage, James addresses the modern American spirit of presumption and pride that governs our lives and calendars. We’ll see wisdom in Christ is an invitation to humble surrender to the limited and dependent life to which God has called us.
