CloseRev. Robert Recio -
The Law of Love (James 2:1-13)
This week we turn to an immediate application of the principles of receiving and responding to God’s Word. James 2:1-13 is a case study highlighting the destructiveness of the seemingly “minor” sin of showing partiality. By showing favoritism (or its opposite, prejudice) we exhibit a failure to: 1) understand Christ’s glory and, 2) to love. We will be reminded of the everyday implications of what it means to be a people who are to be chiefly known as who we truly are in Christ.
