CloseRev. Robert Recio -
Signs of the Times (Matthew 24:1-35)
Matthew 24, the Olivet Discourse, is one of the most difficult passages in the Bible. Standing before the Jerusalem Temple, Jesus announces its destruction and his coming at the end of the age. Christians throughout the ages have disagreed on key points of this passage, yet its meaning for the church in every age is perhaps the least controversial and difficult point of all; though our world contains so much tribulation and suffering, God is in control and in the end Jesus will return to restore and renew all things.
