CloseRev. Robert Recio -
Gospel Community (John 17)
Through John 17, we explore our second core value “Gospel Community.” Consider the significance that Jesus’ last words before his arrest are his desire that his people be united. What does this mean for our understanding of the church and how the source of our community is the overflowing love and goodness of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? We see how this community foundation provides security for us in the world as we bear witness to and reflect in our relationships the glory of Jesus.
From Series: "A Gospel-Formed Community"
The Gospel continues to not only provide for us a core identity but also forms us into a people who bear witness to the glory and goodness of Jesus through the message we proclaim and the lives that we live by God’s power as we exhibit this other-worldly reality to one another and to the world. In this new series, we will seek to recapture the joy and live out of the power of Jesus’ work for sinners (for you and me!) that is announced in the Gospel. Based on our five core values here at CPC, we will explore how the Gospel of Jesus Christ changes everything about our lives our relationships and the world.
