CloseRev. Robert Recio -
The Protest of Easter (Luke 24:36-53)
We live in a time that feels unsteady and uncertain with the ever-present chorus of bad news. And yet at the end of the day, this means that this is a crucial time to remember that Easter doesn’t represent a sentimental word of spiritual encouragement; instead Easter is a protest against the way things are with an invitation to a hope and joy this world cannot extinguish. Easter is the (literal) flesh and blood reminder that despite our experiences in this fallen world God will indeed make all things new.
