CloseRev. Robert Recio -
Behold, Your King (Luke 19:28-41)
On Palm Sunday we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, a day often considered a kick off to Holy Week or a time of pageantry. And yet this famous scene shows us the world at its most confused. The people have pinned their hopes and dreams on the right king, at the right time, and at the right place, but their hopes, dreams, and expectations are all wrong. Palm Sunday is the great event in history that exposes our hearts inclination for the power, glory, and values of this world and how Jesus is the exact king we need.
