A Praying Community (John 14:13-14; 15:7, 16; John 16:23)
This week we see what it means to be a community called to pray. Six times in the upper room discourse Jesus tells us what it means to be a praying community. And yet as simple as prayer sounds, it remains one of the more challenging areas of consistency and intentionality in the Christian life. We’ll look at Jesus’ teaching on prayer identifying the pitfalls, posture, and gracious provisions God gives us as we pursue him in prayer.
