Each of the elders at Christ Presbyterian works with a number of families in the church to provide pastoral care and counsel. Periodically, these families gather together for a time of fellowship and prayer. These groups are like spiritual greenhouses that help develop the kind of community that the Bible assumes we should have in the local church.
The Castle Community Group (led by elder Lew Castle) meets every other month on the first Sunday of the month in various locales. Contact Lew Castle for more information.

Description
This weekly class will work together through Understanding the Faith: A Workbook for Communicants Classes by Stephen Smallman. Children entering 2nd grade through 5th grade are welcome to participate. Younger/older siblings may attend but parents should understand that the class is directed to a specific age group.
Classes will be held on Tuesdays at the Landry home. Each class will begin at 10:00 am. We will review the chapter that the children worked on at home. There will be a snack break. Then we will work on a chapter or two together or in small groups. We will finish each day by 12:00 pm.
Parents: please make sure that your child brings his/her workbook, a pencil, and a snack. Completing the workbook does not automatically lead to a child being admitted to the Lord’s Supper, but the elders have determined that this is one of the best ways to help a child prepare for that occasion.
