CloseRev. Robert Recio -
The Vanity of Riches (Ecclesiastes 5:10-6:9)
Money is a powerful counterfeit god. We have all felt its powerful promises and felt crushed and fooled by its failure to deliver. As the Preacher takes us through the “vanity of riches,” wisdom, as we’ll see, isn’t found in prosperity or poverty - it isn’t best to be rich and there is no superiority in being poor; it is found in a heart properly set on God.
