CloseRev. Robert Recio -
In Search of the Good Life (Ecclesiastes 1:12-2:26)
This week, the Preacher of Ecclesiastes takes us on a whirlwind quest for pleasure, identity, and meaning through the pursuit of what is ultimately unsatisfying: knowledge, comedy, pleasure, alcohol, work, possessions, and sex. While we still relate to his search for fulfillment; we know these things do not satisfy. The good life is found in placing our hope and confidence in the Giver rather than the gifts themselves.
