Guys, our monthly men’s Bible study and breakfast is tomorrow at 8AM at the Recios. Please let Pastor Robert know if you are coming so that we have enough food. We’ll be looking at Mark chapter 2 and more examples of King Jesus bringing the Kingdom of God and his kingship to bear on this world. Hope to see you Saturday.
The ladies of the church will be gathering this Saturday to help with decorations for our upcoming Ladies Luncheon on Sept. 13th. It would be great, if you can help! It’s OPEN HOUSE style from 9:00 am till 12:00 noon. Just come when you can and bring a breakfast treat to share. We need all the help we can get! Jim and Sheryl Marsh are hosting the missions committee this Sunday. Seth Addison will be making an appearance at about 3:00. The plan is to have each family provide their own lunches and a dessert to share for when Seth arrives. We can spend time hanging out, swimming, and discussing world wide persecution of the church until Seth arrives. This would be a great opportunity to gift Seth with food cards to help the needy families from Olive Branch. all are welcome. For more information, contact Mike DeWit.
