It’s Friday, but Sunday’s Comin’!

Happy Friday, everyone!

Husbands and fathers, do you have your plans for Saturday made? Many of our wives and mothers will be heading to the regional PCA women’s conference tomorrow. Please pray for these women, that they might come back refreshed and encouraged by the gospel.

We’re right in the middle of our Spring Sunday School session. It’s not too late to join! There are age-graded classes for children and youth. The adults are working their way through the Westminster Confession of Faith. This week, we’ll look at chapter 19, on the law of God.

This Sunday, immediately after the worship service, we’re having a congregational meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to elect a pulpit committee as we take the next step in our pastoral transition. The session will present a motion to designate the session as the pulpit committee so that they can work closely with Robert in the pastoral transition. That decision must be made by the congregation. There will be time during the meeting to discuss the motion before the vote.

After the worship service, the second session of our Discovery Class will be meeting at the Recios home.

Have a great weekend! I look forward to worshipping with you on Sunday.

In Christ,

Eric Landry

It’s Friday, but Sunday’s Comin’!

Happy Friday, everyone!

Jessie and Shirley Hall need our help with their move tomorrow. We’re gathering at Cubesmart on 44618 Pechanga Parkway at 9AM to load. If you can help, please send Jessie an email.

Our congregational open forum is tomorrow evening at 5PM. Robert and I along with some of the elders will walk through the pastoral transition plan and answer any questions you might have. Please gather at the home of Jim and Sheryl Marsh: 39832 Aladdin Circle in Temecula.

The session is also calling a congregational meeting for Sunday, April 24th. This meeting, to be held immediately after the worship service, is to elect a pulpit committee. The session will present a motion to elect the session as the pulpit committee so that they can work closely with Robert in the pastoral transition. That decision must be made by the congregation. There will be time during the meeting to discuss the motion before the vote.

Have a great weekend! I look forward to worshipping with you on Sunday.

Eric Landry
